"A Christmas Story" is a beloved 1983 holiday film directed by Bob Clark, based on the semi-autobiographical stories of Jean Shepherd. Set in the 1940s in Hohman, Indiana, it follows young Ralphie Parker's quest for the ultimate Christmas gift - a Red Ryder BB gun. The film humorously captures the challenges of childhood, featuring memorable scenes like a frozen tongue on a flagpole and the iconic leg lamp. With its nostalgic charm, relatable humor, and universal themes of family and Christmas spirit, "A Christmas Story" has become a timeless classic, annually enjoyed by audiences during the holiday season.
Performances will take place in Dorothy Stickney Auditorium.
