Dickinson to Welcome the ND Lions

SnipImage.JPGThe 91st Annual North Dakota State Lions Convention will take place in Dickinson on October 25 & 26 at the Ramada - Grand Dakota Lodge & Conference Center.
 
The convention’s theme is Meeting of the Minds. Bringing Ideas to Light. The hosts are the Dickinson Area Lions. 
 
Registration begins Friday at 9:00am and on Saturday at 7:00am. Friday’s schedule includes breakout sessions, an afternoon oil tour, the Lions Memorial Service, and evening entertainment by Mystical Minds. On Saturday, there will be state and district meetings and additional breakout sessions.  Also taking place on Saturday is the Leo Lion Youth Speech Contest, the Peace Poster Contest, the Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon, and a performance by the ND Lions Choir. The evening’s banquet dinner features Rhythms of the Hart.
 
Lions Clubs International includes 46,000 clubs with 1.35 million members, making it the world’s largest service club organization. Focal Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and other programs.
