Roughrider Days Fair and Expo in Dickinson, North Dakota, is not your average PRCA rodeo. The two-week midsummer event also incorporates a carnival, motor sports, and a parade. The Fair and Expo even features a demolition derby, 4-H activities, a family fun day, and a concert by one of the nation's biggest stars.

Dickinson Youth Rodeo - June 17

Western fun for all ages!! Kids ages 0 - 13 participate in events such as stick horse racing, boot racing, dummy roping, goat tail untying, flag racing, sheep riding, barrel racing, pole bending and breakaway roping. Event is FREE!

Carnival - June 21-25

Ride the thrills of the carnival. Kids of all ages will enjoy the games and cotton candy. Wristbands and individual tickets will be available for carnival rides.

PRCA RODEO - JUNE 23-25

Rodeo fans get ready for three PRCA Rodeo performances featuring some of the best cowboys and cowgirls in the Badlands Circuit, including National Finals Rodeo contenders and past world champions. Spectators witness the twist and spin of the best bucking stock around while cheering for their favorite contender. Watch the battle of the best compete on bronc to bull for top ranking.

4-H EXHIBITS AND LIVESTOCK - JUNE 26-29

The Roughrider Days Fair and Expo celebration includes an array of 4-H shows and exhibits. Stop by to see the work and design that youth invest their talents in the different projects, from garden to woodwork to photography and much more.

The 4-H Horse Show youth will participate with their horses in events such as trail class, Western riding class, halter class, reining class and speed events. Livestock showing is another favorite of youth activities.

FAMILY FUN DAY - JULY 1

FAMILY FUN DAY ROAD RACES - JULY 1

1/4 mile youth competition, 1-mile fitness walk, and 5K run and 10K run. Electronic chip timing and age category awards available immediately after participant completion. Southwest Speedway provides entertainment for the entire family. Join racing fans to cheer for your favorite drivers to the finish line!

Roughrider Days Parade - July 1

Bring your friends and entire family to witness one of North Dakota's largest parades. After the parade, spend your day at the waterpark, play a round of golf, visit the Badlands Dinosaur Museum, or enjoy shopping in Downtown Dickinson - there's so much to do!

Bursts of spectacular color and light will shower the sky Tuesday, July 4, 2023. We have a spectacular show planned for you.

DEMOLITION DERBY - JULY 9

Maybe smashing action is what you are looking for and if so, join the other loyal fans and take in crashing destruction at the demolition derby. No matter what you're in the mood for we have something for everyone!
