The Cowboy Triple Crown kicks off at 1:00 p.m. on March 23 with the Cowboy Challenge Rodeo, featuring the top four contestants in each event from Dickinson State University competing against the top contestants in each event from all around the region who are members of the North Dakota High School Rodeo Association.

The Spring Roping will be held on March 24 at 10am.

The Blue Hawk Stampede, the final Great Plains Regional rodeo of the season, will be held on May 3 & 4, a major rodeo in determining who will qualify for the (CNFR) College National Finals Rodeo. More than 275 contestants from five states and 14
universities will compete to see who is best. Action will run nearly all day beginning with slack performances in the morning and end with bull riding late into the night. The rodeos will be held on May 3 at 6pm and on May 4 at 1pm.

The Roughrider Ropaganza, an open team roping event that begins at 1pm on May 5, will feature over 250 teams of ropers competing for trophy saddles and
cash prizes.

All events will be held at the DSU Indoor Arena. Admission for the events are $8 for adults and $3 for youth. For further information, contact the DSU Ag Department at (701) 483.2185.
