Manitoba-North Dakota Zero Tillage Farmers Association to Meet in Dickinson

Ztlogo.gifThe Manitoba-North Dakota Zero Tillage Farmers Association will hold its 2015 Annual Workshop & Trade Show on Jan. 5-7, 2015, at the Ramada Grand Dakota Hotel in Dickinson. Approximately 200 people are expected to attend.

The Workshop & Trade Show consists of a series of presentations about best practices in no-till and conservation farming. The workshop also offers attendees the opportunity to visit, learn and share their experiences. The trade show, which runs concurrently, hosts more than 25 exhibitors.

Featured speakers include Dan Forgey, cropping foreman of Cronin Farms in South Dakota; Dwayne Beck, PhD, research manager for the South Dakota State University Dakota Lakes Research Farm located near Pierre, S.D.; Don Reicosky, retired soil scientist for the United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service; and Kelly Cooper, farm manager of a no-till and strip-till demonstration farm at the Wild Rice Soil Conservation District in Forman, N.D.
