September 3 & 4, 2011 Killdeer Mountain Memorial Broncs n Bulls On Saturday a Saddle Bronc Riding Competition will run @ 5:30pm and on Sunday Broncs and Bulls will start @ 5:30pm also with food/beer concessions. September 6, 2011 "Family Movie Night" DSU hosting "Super 8," rated PG13, showing at 8:00pm on the Hawk Vision Video Board. Fun for the entire family. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and sit on Fisher Field or utilize bleacher seating to watch the film. Concessions will be open during the event. No outside food or drinks are permitted in the facility. Tickets are $2 p/person at the door. Doors open @ 7:30pm. September 10 & 11, 2011 Annual "Good Ole" Taylor Days & Tractor Journey On Saturday the Tractor Journey starts @ 10:00am & runs from Taylor to Knife River Loop w/Registration from 8 - 10am MT in Taylor. Cost is $30 which includes breakfast in Taylor with lunch @ Noon @ Knife River. Ending up back @ Heritage Hill in Taylor for a Tractor Parade around 4:00pm. Supper & viewing @ 5:00 pm. On Sunday, Taylor Days will run from 10:00am - 7:00pm with a $10 admission which includes: Soup & farmer hat dinner, flea market, threshing, plowing, blacksmithing, antique tractor pull, kids pedal tractor pull, stationary engine exhibits and demos, children's activities, musical entertainment & potluck supper. September 10, 2011 West River Triathlon This triathlon will host a 500 yd. swim, 11 mile bike & a 3 mile run. September 11, 2011 Sept. 11 Community Commemorative Ceremony DSU Student Senate will host this event in honor of the tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. This ceremony will start at 6:30pm.
