Dkn. Museum Exhibit ~ Strike up the Band!

Reception for the exhibit will be held from 4:30-7:00 pm. At 6:00 pm current members of the Dickinson City Band will perform a few selections. The reception is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served. This exhibit is a history of the Dickinson City Band tracing its origins back to 1885. This Band has been a fixture in the Dickinson community for a majority of the last 126 years. This musical tradition comes to life through historic photographs and audio recording. Visitors to the exhibit will also learn about the different musical instrument families and have the opportunity to take a crack at conducting or playing a musical instrument themselves with the interactive Wii Music game.
