Annual Blues & Brews
This blues & brews will take place from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with unlimited sampling of 15+ regional home brews, 5+ micro brews from local distributors along with live blues music by "The Blue Wailers". ALIVE @ 5
Summertime will come alive each Thursday evening in downtown Dickinson, from 5:00-7:30pm with free live music, scrumptious food, fine wines, and frosty brews. Alive @ 5, is a weekly event (except for July 5) and a gathering of Dickinson's professionals, community members and friends, and its goal is to help promote and revitalize the downtown Dickinson area.
"Outlaw Sippin", a contemporary country music band out of Killdeer, will be providing entertainment on June 7 with a variety of bands and entertainment performing from that point forward.
This event is hosted by Odd Fellows Lodge and Sneak Pique Productions. Proceeds will go to scholarships and other worthy causes.Location: 1st Avenue West between 1st Street & Villard

Roughrider Days Fair & Expo
The highly anticipated Roughrider Days Fair and Expo will be June 22-July 4, 2012. Dickinson's main summer event will feature fun-filled events for the whole family. The theme for this year's event is Living the Dream.
There are many events to take in during the Fair and Expo. The Horse, Poultry, Rabbit, Dog and Pet Shows, along with the 4-H Exhibit and Livestock Show will be taking place at the Badlands Activities Center and at the DSU Indoor and Outdoor Arenas. In addition, the Southwest Speedway Assn. will hold their race at the Southwest Speedway~10 mi. South of town on Hiway 22 and 1 mi. West.
There will also be a 5K/10K Run Walk at the Dickinson Recreation Center, a parade will take place throughout downtown Dickinson, the Southwest Arts Roundup will be at the Dickinson State University Campus, along with a Kids Family Fun Day at the Jaycee Park. Other events include a Demolition Derby, OXY USA, Inc. PRCA Rodeos, Fireworks, and Headliner concert featuring Lonestar.
