Dickinson Public Fossil Dig

Date: June 25 - June 29, 2018
We will be concentrating on a 30-40 million year old mammal site (saber-toothed cats, rhinos, tortoises, tiny deer and horses, etc.). Depending on the weather, and the concentration of fossils at different locations, our destinations may shift. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will have spaces for people to work in our paleontology lab in Bismarck.

-Registration: $10 donation per person per day*. Participants must be at least 13 years old. Individuals under 18 years of age must have an accompanying adult. Lodging (if needed), meals, and transportation to the fossil sites are the responsibility of the participants. Maximum of 14 participants per day. All tools needed for the day will be provided. Registration opens February 1st at 8 am Central Time.
